Production Team Leader (Plastic Extrusion) - Shift Work involved.

YS Reclamation Limited is a progressive and forward thinking plastic processing company based in Warrington. We have expanded our business to cater for the demands in an evolving plastic recycling industry.

We are looking for a Production Team Leader to join us. Someone who is reliable and safety-minded, with a strong work ethic. You should also be highly organised with strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively to lead and be part of a small team. No experience necessary as full training will be given to the right person. A counterbalance fork lift truck licence would be beneficial but again full training can be provided.

Please note: This position requires you to work both days and nights.

Job Responsibilities:

As one of our Production Team Leaders you will be supervising and operating our plastics wash plant, and reprocessing extrusion equipment. You shall be expected to report on the daily production output.

Essential function / position responsibilities include:

• Supervision of loading various types of plastic recyclables into our automated wash plant.
• Supervision and operation of the reprocessing equipment in accordance with company manual handing and health & safety procedures.
• Ensure general housekeeping and site cleanliness.
• Obey all company safety regulations and promote an excellent health and safety culture within your team.
• Some loading & unloading tasks with lift truck (training can be given).
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the production manager.

Working hours /shifts

4 days on 4 days off. Each shift will be 12 hours (6-6) This will be followed by 4 days off.
