Yourconstruction are delighted to be looking for an Operations Coordinator to join a successful Construction Group. This will be working within the Head Office of the business and covering all Administration and Operational Support.
MUST HAVE EXCELLENT ORGANISATIONAL SKILLS AND ATTENTION TO DETAIL

Job Purpose:
To help support and develop the Group’s Operations and Facilities Department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the Operations Manager in overseeing the Group purchases and services • Assist with building estate management repairs and re-newels. • To maintain accurate records of planned, in-progress and completed project work. • Assist with the implementation of Health and Safety policies and procedures. • Assist with the implementation of transport policies and procedures. • Provide a central support service to all branch locations for Transport & Health and Safety. • Maintain compliance with operators’ licence, driver hours and driver standards. • Use in house software for Health and Safety and Transport compliance. • Ensure incoming calls/emails are dealt with promptly. • Undertake any site maintenance where necessary. • Help set up and support the Group operations department. • Any other duties as required by management. Please note that this will change as the role and the needs of the business develops

Essential:
- Ability to be proactive and to use initiative • High quality verbal and written communication skills • The ability to provide a high level of attention to detail and accuracy • Excellent organisational skills and a strong ability to prioritise • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines • A positive team player, with demonstrable ability to work collaboratively with colleagues • Ability to complete general maintenance tasks
IT Skills
MS Office and good working knowledge of Excel • Knowledge and experience within the Construction Industry• Previous experience in a Health and Safety / Transport Operator role.
Desirable: • Full UK Driving Licence
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £22,000.00-£24,000.00 per year

- No weekends
