6 MONTH INITIAL CONTRACT WITH VIEW TO EXTEND

JOB ROLE SUMMARY:

Working within a busy department, you will be expected to liaise with customers, the appropriate internal teams, lease companies (returns only) and logistics sub-contractors to ensure that all deliveries are scheduled accurately and cost effectively.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Schedule deliveries, collections and relocations with customers / lease companies
• Liaise with customers / lease companies regarding their deliveries, collections and relocations, by telephone and email
• Liaise with Sub contractors, Workshop and Warehousing Team as appropriate, and any other internal department as required
• Check that all correct paperwork received from SOP and Sales prior to scheduling; update SOP and Sales once a delivery date is in place
• Deal with all enquiries into the Logistics department via telephone and email
• Check that all deliveries have signed delivery paperwork
• Be aware of vehicle weight restrictions and schedule accordingly
• Ensure a complete and accurate site survey is in place for every delivery
• Arrange IT resource to coincide with installation / request training where needed (as per deal sheet)
• Route plan where required - Manage logistics costs and plan to the most cost-effective option
• Maintain accurate information as required

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Preferred: Minimum of 5 GCSE’s at Grade C or above (or equivalent) is desirable but not essential

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 2 years customer service experience desirable
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good numeracy and analytical skills
