Civil Worker

The Telecom Civil Technician provides support of all civil construction activities on telecommunications sites. Tasks include site excavation and grading, installing underground utilities for power or telco services, and concrete pours required to support new telecommunications towers, equipment shelter or other power systems.

• Must maintain and enforce the Jacobs Beyond Zero safety program, ensure daily jobsite safety plans are reviewed and followed, and stop work when unsafe work practices or conditions exist
• Works autonomously on work sites under general direction of supervisor
• Executes manual labor tasks including loading, lifting and transporting materials in a safe manner
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned

Here’s What You’ll Need:

• Successful completion and passing score of all mandatory company certifications are required
• Ability to lift, carry, push and pull 75 lbs. required
• Ability to crouch, kneel, twist, reach and grasp with both hands and/or legs required
• Familiar with concrete work, surveying principles, and structure erection or foundation installation methods
• CPR/First Aid certifications preferred
• OSHA 30 certification preferred

Certification in -NRSWA units LA,01-05 & 08 (For Civil Worker) is mandatory

Certification in any of the below is preferred

CD1 Core drilling G01 Gen Ops 1G02 Gen Ops 2DB1 Duct Blockage 1DL1 Duct Laying 1SLEW1 - Slewing.

Salary: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
