Seasonal Animal Care Assistant

SEASONAL ANIMAL CARE ASSISTANT (3 - 5 DAYS PER WEEK)

Person specification:
Relevant experience in Animal Care and studying towards an animal based qualification
Holds Full UK driving license
Friendly and polite to customers
Good attitude towards team members
Hard working, motivated, committed and quick thinking
Excellent oral and written communicator
Well presented and smart
Good time keeper
Able to follow instructions correctly and work with minimal supervision

Job Description:
Provide a high standard of care to all animals
Participate in public displays of animals i.e. reptile encounters
Drive the tractor/trailer for public tractor rides
Work in the shop including selling livestock to customers and operating the till
Operate and supervise the mini fun fair rides
Any other duties as required

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: £7.65-£10.65 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Experience:

• Animal care: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Full UK Driving Licence (required)

Work Location: One location
