Job Description

Toolmaker – Job Summary:

We’re supporting our client, a leading Injection Moulding manufacturer based in Corby, who are looking for a Toolmaker to join their growing team. The successful Toolmaker will have experience of Injection Moulding, Toolmaking, and toolroom machinery.

Salary: Circa £35,000

Benefits: To be discussed at interview

Job Type: Permanent

Location: Corby

Job Start date: ASAP

Responsibilities:

Repairing, modifying and maintaining all existing production tooling
Service a range of mould Tooling
Operating all toolroom plant and machinery safely
Provide continuous improvement
Log any completed tool maintenance and repair work
Use of Toolroom database
Ensure correct marking and labelling of tools
Rectify problems quickly and effectively
Quality checking

About You:

Have plastic injection mould tool experience in a similar role.
Relevant tooling qualifications (Apprenticeship, HNC etc)
Industry experience within plastics/injection moulding is essential.
CNC, CAD/CAM experience is desirable but not essential.
Experience with hot runner systems/valve gates and manifolds would be advantageous.
