About us
Based in East London’s Stepney Green, our beautiful 41-bed home is an active part of our local community and provides respite care and long-term care for people who need residential, residential dementia and end of life care.
Our home is a place of freedom and respect, where our dedicated team, many of whom live in the local areas of Barking, Upminster and Ilford, encourage residents to make their own choices and support them to remain as independent as possible.
Known for our home-from-home environment, quality care and a fun and friendly atmosphere. we also maintain close contact with the vibrant inner London communities of Limehouse, Shadwell and Mile End, as many of the residents have lived in the local area all their lives.
Responsibilities include
- Ensure that the needs of residents are met in a patient and caring manner.
- Help residents who need assistance with dressing, personal hygiene and toileting when required, respecting residents’ rights to exercise choice in all areas of their life.
- Assist residents with mobility problems and other physical disabilities to move freely within the Home.
- Contribute to information used in care plans with residents and their families/significant others and implement care as agreed, respecting the resident’s right to exercise choice.
- Provide a high standard of care and service at all times.
- Answer emergency bells and if necessary call senior member of staff on duty; answer the main door bell and greet visitors with politeness and warmth.
- Take part in staff meetings and training activities as required.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 40 per week
Salary: £25,975.00-£28,090.00 per year
