Position Overview & Specifications
We are looking for a New Business Account Manager to join our expanding team to generate new business out of new logos/ accounts. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating sales revenue from new accounts, predominantly in the warehousing and manufacturing sectors. This will include identifying key targets, making contact with and building rapport with key contacts, articulating the commercial value the business offers using this information to generate additional opportunities and sales revenues into the business
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities from new logo clients
- Developing and presenting proposals to clients
- Negotiating agreements with clients
- Managing client accounts to ensure satisfaction and retention
- Building and maintaining a thorough understanding of the companys products and services
- Meeting or exceeding established sales goals
- Monitoring market trends and competitor activities
- Working collaboratively with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction
- Keeping up-to-date on industry trends and technologies
Skills:
- Proven track record of successful sales and new business development in a B2B environment
- An understanding of how large and complex client organisations function
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) software
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and detail-oriented
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organisational, planning & prioritising skills to ensure that follow-up deadlines are met even in busy periods
