Housekeeper/Cleaner

The Western Baths Club is a unique private members club established in 1876. We are looking for an individual to join our housekeeping team.

It is a very popular swimming, sport and leisure club, with over 2600 members, located in the West End of Glasgow. The club is one of the most prestigious and successful of its kind in the UK. The club boasts a unique balance of traditional Victorian facilities including the 27m swimming pool and the Turkish & Russian baths suite with the more recent recreation and leisure amenities that include a large sports hall, gym and exercise studio.

The housekeeper will focus on day-to-day housekeeping of various areas throughout the club. They will have to ensure all areas are cleaned to the agreed standards and that the cleaning service is maintained throughout the premises. Health and safety awareness, good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team are also very important to perform the role.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• Good communication skills
• Understanding of cleaning specification
• Ability to work in a team
• Health and Safety awareness
• Awareness of COSHH procedures

Hours for position are:

Tues 7am-10am

Wed 7am-10am

Thur 7am-10am

Friday 7am -11am

Saturday 7am-12pm

Extra hours to cover holidays and sickness will also be available.
