Waltham Forest Services Ltd is a trading company owned by the London Borough of Waltham Forest. Established in April 2018 we've grown at a rapid pace and are now seeking a Repairs and Maintenance Operations manager to lead a growing team.

Reporting to the Head of Commercial Operations, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of premises support and general repairs operatives.
We are looking for an experienced Repairs and Maintenance Operations Manager to lead our repairs and maintenance department, with a focus on delivering retrofit programs in accordance with PAS2035 standards. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and management of repairs, maintenance, and retrofit projects. Additionally, experience in quantity surveying is highly desirable for this position.
You will keep the team’s workload flowing whilst implementing both project and operation maintenance works, therefore you will need to be self-motivated and leave no task unaccounted for. The ideal candidate will have experience of working in and leading a team of multi skilled reactive repair teams carrying out a variety of tasks ranging from plumbing, carpentry, minor electrical and garden landscaping as well as planned and reactive maintenance programs. The ability to coach and provide staff with clear instructions on how to complete complex repairs safely and to a high standard is a must so a willingness to get ‘hands on’ is required.

Salary: £48,865.00 per year
