Programme and Intervention Officer – Ref: CH10222

Salary: G7 £29,439 - £33,820 per annum
Contract: Permanent, full time

We have another exciting opportunity to join our talented and friendly Youth Justice team!

We are a multi-agency service with the principle aim of preventing and reducing youth offending in Walsall. We are a service that is continually improving and striving for excellence and we are looking for a motivated, energetic and positive individual with previous employment experience of working with children and young people; ideally in a criminal justice setting.

  • Your role will be to work directly with children and young people who have offended or are at risk of offending.
  • You’ll be responsible for co-ordinating, developing and delivering individual and group work programmes that are innovative and engaging.
  • You’ll assist in the delivery of robust services to children and young people and will work flexibly as part of a multi-agency team to provide an integrated approach to delivering services to those that present with complex needs.

Qualification:

An A level or equivalent and/or vocational qualifications (e.g. NVQ level 3 Children and Young People or Community Justice studies) is essential for this role.
