Position Overview & Specifications
*This job is part time due to the small number of hours which is why we've decided to pay staff on commission rather than per hour. This makes it perfect for anyone looking for 1-2 hours in the middle of the day.
Attention dog lovers! We're seeking warm, caring, and hardworking individuals to join our small team as dog walkers in Camelford.
The ideal candidate must have a deep love and passion for dogs, demonstrated through personal or professional experience. We want someone who dreams about playing fetch, can spend hours on Instagram "aww-ing" at puggles, poodles, and pit-bulls, and stops to say hello to every dog they meet on the street.
People skills are essential, as you'll be interacting with our clients every day. You must also be comfortable working with dogs of all shapes, sizes, and temperaments.
The position requires physical endurance, as you'll be on your feet, walking, and cycling for much of the day in any weather condition with a positive attitude.
As a dog walker, you'll become part of the families we help care for, so we're looking for someone who is committed to staying with us for at least six months. There may be opportunities for additional hours and evening work pet sitting as the business grows.
If you're passionate about dogs, have the necessary skills and experience, and want to become part of a growing team, please apply today! Woof, woof!
