Position Overview & Specifications
VNCR media group, based in London, UK is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Accountant with Bookkeeping Skills serving as the primary bookkeeper for the holding company and its subsidiary companies. The successful candidate will have advanced skills in accounting and bookkeeping, specifically using Xero, as well as excellent organizational and communication abilities.
Bookkeeper Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation of consolidated financial statements for the holding company and its subsidiary companies
- Maintain and update financial records using Xero, including accounts payable and receivable, bank and credit card transactions, and payroll
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts on a monthly basis
- Prepare and issue invoices to clients
- Prepare and file sales tax returns
- Assist with the preparation of financial reports for management and external stakeholders
- Manage and track intercompany transactions and reconcile intercompany accounts
- Assist with the implementation and maintenance of financial policies and procedures for the holding company and its subsidiary companies
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Accounting/bookkeeping role or in a similar role
- Advanced skills in accounting and bookkeeping, specifically using Xero
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Detail-oriented and able to work independently
- Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary contract, Temp to perm
Contract length: 3 months
Part-time hours: 16 per week
Salary: £12.00-£14.00 per hour
