We are currently recruiting for a Production Supervisor to join an employer of choice in Caerphilly. This 'Investors in People Gold' accredited company has gone from strength to strength due to their product offering and due to internal growth, have created this position to cater for long term, increased demand.

As Production Supervisor you will be primarily responsible for ensuring the production processes run efficiently and compliantly within the production dept. to meet customer delivery dates with the highest levels of quality.

Additional responsibilities for you:

Use your ability to work across multiple departments within manufacturing and communicate effectively with Dispatch / Logistics, Technical Service, Customer Service and Goods-in.

Implement your knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement

Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop a team of production staff who are responsible for safely and cost-effectively moving the raw materials through the production process
Maximise production quality across departments
Work with senior management and peers to train and develop team members skills

Ensure your team maintain a professional attitude when dealing with all customer visits.
Lead /work in a safe manner and have a proactive approach to all Health & Safety and environmental issues.
