We offer a range of undergraduate and post-graduate pre-registration degrees and post registration MSc programmes. We have an income of over £11m, 120 academic staff and over 1800 students registered on the school’s programmes across Nursing, Midwifery, Social Work, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy, Paramedic Science, Health and Social Care and Research. Teaching is predominantly delivered in the purpose-built Sarah Swift Building, which houses clinical skills suites across all floors that are dedicated to the delivery of the School’s clinical skills/practical simulation requirements. It is here that the School is looking to recruit a technician assistant, to work as part of the already established clinical skills technical team. The role provides support to teaching and research by preparing for the practical delivery of skills teaching and maintaining the day-to-day operational activities that sit behind this. This role requires knowledge to carry out varied work, including preparation for practical classes, maintenance and operation of equipment, up-keep of storage areas and general administration tasks to support the effective running of the facilities.

If you have an interest in clinical skills and healthcare education, are looking to work in a fast-paced environment, and would like to be part of a dynamic technical team then this could be the opportunity for you. Please get in contact with Simon George, the College Technical Manager (sgeorge@lincoln.ac.uk) for an informal discussion.
