UE07: £36,333.00 - £43,155.00 Per Annum, Pro Rata.
CMVM / MGPHS / USHER Institute / CGH.
Fixed Term Contract – Available from 1 April 2023 for 18 Months; Part Time - 21 Hours Per Week.

The Global Health Research Centre at the Usher Institute within The University of Edinburgh is looking for a researcher to work on a major MRC funded programme increasing access to the Palliative Care and Pain Relief (PCPR) services in Latin America
The researcher will support a global team to track progress, and curate data on costings and best case pricing for delivering palliative care.

The Opportunity:

This post offers an opportunity to carry out evidence synthesis and data visualisation on a major MRC funded research project working with partners in the US, Mexico, El Salvador and Colombia. The goal of the project is to enhance the delivery of pain relief and palliative care for those least able to access it

Your skills and attributes for success:

Working knowledge and experience of culture, health systems and Universal Health Coverage in Latin America.
Skills in health services research or implementation science.
[Experience in research and project management insert brief bullet point].
Ability and experience of working with research investigators in lower and middle income country settings .
Highly desirable to understand and speak Latin American Spanish insert brief bullet point.
