Research Assistant
The School of Biological Sciences is seeking motivated and hardworking a Research Assistant on a temporary basis for 6 months. The role is on a part time basis at 53% of full time hours.

The main purpose of the role is to provide disability support to a PhD student through support/ conduct of both analytical work in the laboratory and field work. Work will include but may not be limited to; preparation of sediment samples for isotope analysis, extraction of biomarkers from sediment samples, macrofauna sampling and identification and image analysis of UW video material. The chosen candidate will work closely with and under instruction of said PhD candidate.
Salary will be at the appropriate point on Grade 5, £29,619 - £33,314 with placement according to qualifications and experience.
