Factory Hygiene Operative - Nights

What do you get?

• Hourly rate: £13.50 per hour
• Overtime available, paid at time and a third
• 40 hour week. Fixed Shift: 10.00pm - 6.00am, Sunday - Thursday

What will you do?

• Clean designated facility areas (sweep, dust, vacuum, mop, clean ceilings, walls, floors, etc.) and store cleaning materials and equipment correctly and safely, in line with COSHH requirements
• Carry out all cleaning tasks to an acceptable standard and in accordance with the Quality team’s work instructions, within required time limits
• Ensure all waste products produced during tasks are segregated and disposed of correctly, keeping waste areas clean and free of debris
• Safely operate the compactor, keeping the area clean at all times
• Undertake a deep clean of factory machinery, during periodic maintenance programmes
• Use chemical agents as directed by the Production Manager, in accordance with the manufacturer’s data sheet instructions
• Ensure attention to detail and attention to safety are adhered to at all times

What are we seeking?

• A collaborative team player, with a passion for delivering a high standard of work
• Previous experience of working in a factory cleaning role
• Qualifications in COSHH or Health & Safety
• A focus on safeguarding the quality, legality and safety of our product
