Position Overview & Specifications

We are currently looking for an Events Marketing professional to join our client on a hybrid/remote basis. As the Events Marketing Executive you will be responsible for implementing year-round, content-led visitor marketing campaigns for their flagship physical event, as well as regular virtual events and webinars. You will need to have a good understanding of social media, email campaigns, SEO, PPC, PR, partner relationship management and creativity skills too.

You will be responsible for the execution and ownership of core areas of the event visitor marketing strategies with support from our Digital Analyst and content team, including;

  • Email creation, reporting and optimisation
  • Social media planning, engaging and optimisation
  • Refreshing website content and SEO to drive traffic and leads. • Assisting with PPC to optimise campaigns and spend
  • Following up with press contacts and analysing release coverage
  • Working with industry media partners and associations to fulfil agreements and secure coverage opportunities
  • Regularly reporting back to the Operations Director on the effectiveness of our campaigns, areas of concern and new ideas
  • Gathering evergreen content onsite at our events, such as vox pops, working with internal and external stakeholders to find the best contacts to interview
  • Supporting the company with wider marketing activities

To be considered for the role you will need the following;

  • Strong copywriting, using content to drive engagement and action.
  • Knowledge across the full mix of marketing channels
  • Excellent time management and communication
  • A good eye for detail and some basic design knowledge
  • Great at both working independently and collaborating with multiple teams
  • Solid marketing experience in a fast paced environment, ideally with a marketing qualification
