Warehouse Operator.

We are looking for a Warehouse Worker/helper to participate in our warehouse operations and activities. Warehouse Workers/helper responsibilities include storing materials, picking, packing, and scanning orders. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, unload, pack, wrap, label, ship)
• Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
• Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
• Complete diary logs into inventory
• Report any discrepancies
• Organize warehouse space
• Keep warehouse clean and organized daily
• Examine ongoing and outgoing shipments
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and co-workers
• Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations

You will be contracted to 39.5 hours Monday and Friday per week.

Below are our opening hours and you will be expected to work your hours during these:

• Monday 7:30am–5.00pm
• Tuesday 8:30am–5.00pm
• Wednesday 8:30am–5.00pm
• Thursday 8:30am–5.00pm
• Friday 8:30am–4:30pm
• Saturday - 9:00am-12:00pm Bi-weekly/Alternative
• Sunday Closed

Requirements and skills

• Proven warehouse experience
• Ability to operate the forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment
• Adequate knowledge of warehouse data system
• Team player with organizational skills
• Ability to lift or move heavy products
• High school diploma
