Full Stack Laravel/ Vue Developer

We are a small software business, with massive growth plans. We are looking for an experienced full-time Software Engineer to join our team in Daventry. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience using PHP and Laravel daily and in a professional capacity.

You will have a solid understanding of web technologies and want to help design, implement, launch and scale major systems and user-facing features. You will be a quick learner who actively seeks opportunities to push boundaries and is comfortable with ambiguity. Working with a small team of like-minded people who are all keen to collaborate and drive each other forward you will thrive in an environment which continuously looks to improve and innovate to make a positive impact on the world. Self-driven with ability to work independently you will also welcome instruction and challenge from colleagues.

Skills required:

- Experience using PHP and Laravel ( we are using PHP 8.2 and Laravel 10)

- Knowledge of Vue.js (version 3)

- Developing and maintaining web services and APIs using RESTful principles

- Ability to write clean, high-quality, high-performance, well-tested, maintainable code

-Comfortable working with remote teams, using Github/Slack/Meet to collaborate

- Ability to write well-designed, maintainable, testable and efficient code that addresses problems, not just specification

- Ability to execute full software development life cycle

- Ability to quickly acquire technical and professional knowledge

Desired but not essential:

- Experience working with Quasar (UI framework)

- Typescript

- ElasticSearch and/or Redis

- Experience writing unit tests and/or e2e tests

Our roles are hybrid with the need to only come into the office 1 or 2 days a week giving you a great work life balance!

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
