Delivery Driver

Ulverston Meat Company/Lakes Speciality Foods are looking for a full time delivery driver. Full time is based on a minimum of 40 hours a week, working 5 days a week according to a rota. Monday - Saturday with a day off through the week, start time of 6 - 6.30am, until completion of duties. Starting your day at our Ulverston site (LA12 9DL) picking up deliveries and then additional work allocated from our Staveley site (LA8 9NH) with deliveries throughout the day within the North West area.

Previous experience is desirable but not essential, we would ask you have good geographical knowledge and confidence driving in both cities and rural areas with use of a Sat Nav. Must be over 25years old, and hold a full licence with no more than 3 points. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and good attention to detail. Duties include preparing the van for operation, loading and delivering, maintaining accurate records of van checks, deliveries, and payments made. Must be able to lift 25-30kg and carry this weight up and down steps. Uniform provided and full training.
