Loreto Grammar School is an 11-18 Roman Catholic Grammar School for Girls with Academy status located in Altrincham, in the Borough of Trafford. It is a thriving, successful, over-subscribed school and a happy place to work. Loreto was judged as “Outstanding” by Ofsted in September 2022 and by the Diocese of Shrewsbury.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead an excellent Physics department and the Governing Body welcomes applications from colleagues with proven and successful leadership potential and/or experience. The appointed candidate will be expected to teach Physics at all Key Stages, including A Level. The Head of Physics will join the established and supportive Loreto community and be expected to commit to the ethos and values of the School and will be an engaged and proactive member of staff both as middle leader and form tutor.
