Position Overview & Specifications
We are a boutique law firm based in Cheshire and are looking for an experienced legal Secretary/PA to support our commercial property and litigation departments.
The role and duties include, but are not limited to:
1. Providing secretarial support to two directors including digital dictation, time recording; preparing leases, contracts and transfers for our Commercial Conveyancing Department and providing support to our litigation teams.
2. Good telecommunication skills as you will be liaising with clients, the Court and other third parties, which will also include taking detailed messages.
3. Diary management.
4. E-filing court documents.
5. Assisting in the preparation of trial bundles, applications, and other court documents.
6. Preparing bills, transfers, and payments, whilst liaising with our accounts team.
7. Opening new files via our case management system, which will include adding ID for clients and drafting initial letters of retainer.
The role will be working remotely and it is essential that the candidate has a high level of accuracy, pays attention to detail, is hardworking, self-motivated, and conscientious.
This role would suit someone with a good legal background and has excellent organisational skills whilst adhering to TKN’s core values.
Requirements:
Proven legal experience.
Knowledge of legal terminology, regulations, and the court system.
Excellent MS Office skills including word and excel.
Experience using a case management system.
Outstanding time-management and typing skills
Ability to multi-task.
Hours:
37.5 hours per week – 8.30a.m. -5.00p.m. or 9.00a.m. – 5.30p.m.
Salary:
Dependent upon experience
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: Up to £28,000.00 per year
