Position Overview & Specifications
Established in 1978, Titan Entertainment Group and Forbidden Planet are now the world’s largest and best-known science fiction, fantasy and cult entertainment retailer and the largest UK stockist of the latest comics and graphic novels. We specialise in selling action figures, books, comics, graphic novels, manga and toys and we offer all the best merchandise from the cult cream of movies and television.
We're looking for an experienced IT Support Technician with a proven track record of hardware and software support to join the growing team!
The successful candidate will need good knowledge of technical skills, including an understanding of Windows Servers, Windows/Mac Operating Systems, Networking & Security
Key responsibilities:
- Provide all levels of IT Support to the entire company
- Setup hardware and software for business use, PC’s & Mac’s, printers, mobile devices (iPad/iPhone), Till systems
- Management of Google Workspace
- Helping with the introduction of new technologies
- Follow procedures for dealing with onboarding and offboarding of colleagues
- Ensure the help desk is always kept up to date
- Strong documentation skills and along with experience of dealing with a support tickets system
- Take responsibility for tasks from beginning to end and ensure they are completed promptly

- Energetic and enthusiastic
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Excellent problem-solving skills / adept at providing a workaround
- Experience of supporting customers remotely
- Able to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Adaptable and flexible
- Able to travel to other UK company locations
