Position Overview & Specifications
Your Tasks
- Undertake a comprehensive training programme to be able to run every aspect of the machines/Vehicles used by Timberpak.
- Operate as a member of a team in the Timberpak business and to ensure that the site and vehicles are maintained in a clean, tidy and organised condition.
- Ensure all safety precautions (and PPE) as detailed in the Health and Safety procedures are taken and that safety equipment is in good order and used at all times.
- Responsible for the condition of your vehicle when in use on the road and must, therefore, report any defects or symptoms of defects that could prevent the safe operation of the vehicle immediately. To ensure that defect sheets are completed and handed into the office.
- Adhere to any site rules as supplied by the customer, upholding a courteous, helpful and professional manner to customers at all times.
Our Requirements
- H.G.V. licence, with relevant experience.
- Plant certification (with either loading shovel or 360 excavator).
- Current Drivers CPC.
- Reasonable standard of secondary education
- Basic standard of IT skills and competent use of Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Day shift starting at 06:00hrs, Monday to Friday with occasional weekend overtime.
