Grounds Maintenance / Gardener

The position available is working as part of a small team we are building to managing various aspects of grounds and maintenance across Three Rivers Park. You will be working under the current Site Warden / Maintenance Manager and Park Manager.

Three Rivers is an independent, family run, Holiday and Residential Park on the outskirts of Clitheroe, in the Ribble Valley. We have big plans for the Park moving forward and are looking for a reliable, dedicated individual for a long term career with us.

You would have a variety of duties and responsibilities across the Park, including work indoors and out in a variety of roles inc:

• General maintenance and upkeep of buildings and grounds around the Park, inc cutting, mowing, painting, repairs etc.
• Dealing with Owners on Park on a day to day basis
• Health and Safety Checks and Maintenance
• Upgrading and Improving on site facilities
• Some aspects of Landscaping within the Park
• Delivery and Installation of LPG gas bottles
• Monitoring and testing of the on site Swimming Pool.
• Working with the tools, equipment and machinery associated with the above.

• Working as part of the team on Park.
• Reporting problems and issues to Managers

We are looking for a hands-on, versatile, individual, with a good work ethic and capacity/willingness to learn. Someone who can work well by them self and as part of a team and who is willing to go the extra mile for the Park and tackle any challenge to the best of their ability. You should be committed and responsible, punctual and conscientious and take pride in your work and appearance. Common sense is essential.

Ideally you should have experience in a similar role, however for the right candidate this is not necessary.

The hours would be vary as required with a minimum of 37.5 hrs a week across 5 days, possibly including one weekend day. Wages would be on an hourly rate to be determined by the quality of the candidate. We are looking for a long term prospect who can be with the company for years to come, with the possibility of growth and promotion within the company.

Training will be provided where required.
