Self employed Cleaner

Aim:

The Valley is looking to find a cleaner/cleaners who are willing to work on self employed basis cleaning cottages throughout the year.

The Company:

Hidden away in thirteen acres of gardens and woodland at the heart of Cornwall lies an oasis of serenity, a unique collection of luxury, 5 star gold rated, self-catering holiday cottages that offer the perfect escape at any time of the year. The Valley resort consists of 46 architect designed contemporary cottages with restaurant, bar, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis and squash courts.

Primary Objective:

To clean cottages to a hire standard in a timely fashion.

Nature of work undertaken:

Reporting to our quality manager, you would be cleaning cottages on predominantly and Monday and Friday throughout the year, however it would be busier between April – October than November – March.

The hours will heavily depend on the amount of cottages that need cleaning, and would be perfect for someone who either has another job and this is a top up, or someone who wants some extra money. In the Summer it could be up to 12-15 hours per between Monday and Friday, in the winter the hours are highly irregular as depends on how many cottages are on changeover.

There would also be extra bits that can be done on an adhoc basis throughout the week, again there would be more available in the season.

The Valley’s cottages are 5* Gold, so they are required to be cleaned to a very high level, so this job requires someone who has a keen eye for details and enjoys ensuring things are done to perfection.

• Truro TR3 6LQ: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• cleaning: 1 year (preferred)
