We have joined the University Mental Health Charter Programme and delighted to announce that we’re recruiting for a Mental Health Charter Project Manager on an 18 months fixed term contract. The role is home based with occasional travel between University Campuses.

Salary: competitive salary of £24,300 pro-rata (based on 1 FTE of £40,500)

What you’ll be doing as our MHC Project Manager:

To take the operational lead on the Mental Health Charter Project (MHC Project). To support the activity of the MHC Project working groups in developing resources, information and communications which facilitate the project being successfully delivered. To support the MHC Student Lead.

How you will add value to the role:

  • Through demonstrating strong project management skills and cross functional working contribute to the planning and delivery of the MHC Project.
  • Update stakeholders on the progress of the MHC Project through the production of documentation including activity and project
  • Prepare data and information for reporting on the impact and effectiveness of the MHC Project.
  • Develop and utilise student feedback mechanisms, e.g. focus groups and surveys, to ensure the student voice is a central part of the development and implementation of the MHC Project.
  • To develop and maintain excellent relationships with internal and external stakeholders relevant to the MHC Project being
  • To lead on communications to the university community to ensure staff and students alike are aware of the MHC Project.
  • To report on emerging themes, patterns and general findings from the MHC Project in ways that facilitates enhancements to provision
  • To represent the University at external forums connected with the Mental Health Charter Programme.

Experiences that you can bring to the team:

  • Experience of working in student support services or human resources in the Higher Education (HE) sector.
  • Experience of project management in the higher education sector.
  • Experience of collecting and analysing data
  • Experience of writing and presenting reports
  • Experience of working with students or staff to gain feedback to improve the student or staff experience
  • Experience of providing advice to senior colleagues
