Pizza Chef

A rare and unique opportunity has arisen for a Pizza Chef to lead and manage the garden pizza kitchen at our beautiful 16th Century Village Coaching Inn, in the heart of the glorious Cotswold's.

Reporting to the Head Chef you will be fully responsible and accountable for your own stock and ingredients, maintaining food/health and safety regulations, your own GP and most importantly the teams learning and career development.

The right candidate would design and produce their own Italian artisan pizza’s to the highest standard to serve in our 130 seat all year round-beautiful garden restaurant.

We are at the centre piece of our local Community, and our guests are extremely important to us. We want this individual to be capable of creating theatre and excitement, connecting with both our regular customer as well as thrilling new guests.

We are looking for someone with..

- experience of working with different doughs (stretching, fermentation, bases, crusts) - specifically sourdough

- have experience of working with wood fired ovens, ours is a Gozney Master

- creativity to build an authentic menu that tempts repeat custom

- meticulous attention for detail and great organisation skills

- the drive to continuously look for ways to improve the offer

- great leadership skills with the ability to coach and mentor the team

- Proven communication and interpersonal skills

- A base salary with approximately a £6k additional annual share of tronc + cash tips
