The Movement Events Internship programme is an exciting opportunity to be part of a vibrant collaborative within the events industry. We are responsible for the creation, marketing and management of some the most exciting and diverse event brands across the UK. We pride ourselves on creating truly immersive event brands within the nightlife and brunch settings, partnering with the UK’s leading venue operators. Summer Internship Brand Ambassador Programme – Sales

Sales, Social Media, Marketing, Event Management

We are looking for creative and competitive individuals to join us over the spring and summer period to help run the fastest growing events company in the UK. We have a wide portfolio of events and brands across major cities in England, Scotland & Wales. Individuals will be given the opportunity to develop personally and professionally whilst simultaneously gaining invaluable knowledge of the events sector. Including the creation, marketing and management of events.

The primary responsibility will be driving sales within a highly competitive event promotional marketplace for our student events brands taking place during the University Freshers and Halloween periods. Therefore, the right candidates will be motivated, hard-working and have the gift of the gab. They will not be afraid to utilise every given opportunity to drive sales and also demonstrate the initiative to create their own.

Sales will be driven across a variety of social media platforms. You will be expected to hit sales targets and manage a small team beneath you to support your sales campaign. This internship will test your ability to work within a team and work towards set goals.

Interns will also be provided with the exciting opportunity to travel to and manage their own events in a variety of locations across the UK. We will also involve you in the exciting creative process behind our event concepts.

Work is split between our office based in Aldgate London, E1 and remotely from home with daily calls on zoom for team meetings and progress updates. Therefore, applicants must live in London or surrounding areas and be able to commute to our offices when the rota requires. The working week is split between 2-3 days in our office and 2-3 days remote working.

An events, sales or social media background is ideal but not essential. Recent graduates with business or events related degrees or a passion for events and event marketing is acceptable. Also acceptable are current university students on summer vacation. Basic content creation skills across social media platforms is also desirable.

DETAILS:

  • Basic Salary - up to £1,200: Plus weekly / monthly cash bonuses if targets are met.
  • Virtual Office Hours: Monday to Friday: 10pm – 6pm (you will be required to work outside these hours remotely to ensure targets are hit)
  • Full-Time / Part-Time / Internship. With potential for further employment with the company when role is over.
  • Initial contract length: April – October.
