Protection / Life Insurance Adviser

Due to our continued growth and new introducer partners, we are now looking for an experienced Protection / Life Insurance Adviser, with a proven track record (Income Protection, Life Insurance, and Critical Illness) to join our team. Basic Salary from £25,000-£30,000 dependent on your experience plus commission & bonus - Realistic OTE - £50,000 +. All Leads Provided!

The successful candidate will work from our office on the Team Valley in Gateshead with free parking and a great working environment within a small team who work very closely to provide an outstanding service to clients & value each staff member.

We are looking for an experienced, proven track record and self-motivated Protection advisor to work full time Monday-Friday 9am to 5pm office based.

Main duties and Responsibilities:

To offer high quality protection advice to our existing client bank as well as new incoming customers in the following areas: Income Protection, Life Insurance, and Critical Illness.

Keeping up to date with the latest protection products and changes in industry regulations.

Part of the role will involve estate planning including wills, trusts etc but on the job training will be provided.

Skills and Experience required:

You must have experience of working in the protection industry, have good provider knowledge and able to keep calm in high pressured conditions. You must be well organised, presentable, and punctual with good communication skills, friendly and approachable. You will deliver the highest standards of professional advice and conduct full and thorough fact finds over the telephone to identify client needs.

While not essential, Cert Pro or CeMAP qualifications would be beneficial to the role, however a proven track record of at least 1 year working and advising in the industry is needed as a minimum.
