About us
The Law Office of Christopher A Lamiero, A Professional Corporation, is a private criminal defense firm located in Dublin, CA. The firm consists of two attorneys, the owner/principal attorney, and an associate attorney. We represent clients charged with all levels of criminal offenses. Our primary practice area is Alameda and Contra Costa Counties, but we also represent clients in several other Bay Area counties. We are a dynamic and growing firm and take pride in providing the highest level of representation to our clients.
Responsibilities include overall management of the firm's business, and support of attorneys. Duties include management of the firm's calendar, responding to new client inquiries made via telephone calls or website messages, scheduling new client consults, scheduling follow up meetings with existing clients, and updating clients on case status. Other duties include creating new client files and maintaining file notes, following up on pre-filing cases, eFiling documents, coordinating court appearance coverage as needed, and scanning case materials to Dropbox. Accounting duties include maintaining accounting records of intake fees and payments due, updating income and expenses in QuickBooks, managing office expenses, accounts payable, maintaining client trust account records, making bank deposits and ordering banking supplies. Additional duties include redacting case discovery, ordering office supplies, and renewing contracts, licenses, and memberships as needed (e.g. advertising, insurance, credit card processing, annual audits, State Bar licensing, Law Corporation Certification, and Attorney Security Passes). Candidate must be familiar with Excel, Word, PDF, QuickBooks and Dropbox. Experience working in a law practice, or for a governmental law office (e.g. District Attorney or Public Defender) is preferred. Bilingual (Spanish) is preferred, and would result in a higher level of compensation.

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
