An opportunity has arisen to join this thriving family-run business in Glasgow as Website & Social Media Administrator.
With a newly refurbished showroom and specialist car seat fitting centre we attract customers from as far afield as Peterhead and Newcastle.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will join an expanding team in an exciting work environment. You will manage the daily maintenance of the company’s recently launched new and improved website.
The successful candidate will:

· Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
· Be able to diversify on many projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
· Be able to adapt to and learn new IT systems.
This is a role that will be a key position within the business to support the need to grow our online presence.
Core responsibilities will be, but not limited to:
· Work with our website developer to maintain the webshop platform and drive marketing strategy.
· Manage the merchandising of the webshop and ensure all new products are added to the webshop in a timely manner.
· Liaise with suppliers as the lead on content for the website, keeping up-to-date with current offers and planning ahead for upcoming offers.
· Plan and execute business as usual marketing activity to promote the shop products and services.
· Identify relevant opportunities to develop the webshop offering, constantly aiming to offer the best products and services to our customers.
· Bug reporting to our web developers and testing of subsequent fixes.
· Staying abreast of local and national competitors and their website development.
· Use analytical tools to measure and report on all KPIs to internal stakeholders.
· Managing the company’s eBay seller page by uploading images and product descriptions.
· Any other administration duties as required.
Essential requirements are:
· Proven experience of generating sales through e-commerce channels.
· Strong experience of working with e-commerce platforms, although full training will be provided.
· Confidence using Microsoft Excel to interrogate data and report findings
