Position Overview & Specifications

We are looking for a part time receptionist to provide a professional and polished reception service for visitors to the Fresh Produce Centre and answers/directs calls with courtesy, speed and accuracy. You will be responsible for providing excellent service, ensuring visitors and contractors feel welcome and incoming calls are answered quickly and dealt with efficiently. You will be the first point of contact for visitors and must ensure the Reception and post room are maintained to the highest standards of safety and cleanliness to create the very best impression.

Key responsibilities include:

Answering and directing all incoming calls.
Greeting all visitors and contractors and ensuring all of them sign in and out and are issued with temporary passes and making them aware of health and safety procedures.
Ensure any visitors entering operational areas are issued with relevant safety clothing and footwear and maintain stock.
Receive and distribute all incoming post; complete relevant paperwork for recorded and special deliveries and apply correct postage for all outgoing post.
Arrange couriers.
Arrange taxi bookings.
Order stationery and maintain stock.
Pool car management.
Arrange meeting room bookings.
Raise purchase requisitions for supply of goods from external vendors.
Undertake project work as requested in order to support the HR function.
