Part-time Front of House / Waiting Staff - The Edinburgh Catering Company

We are looking for enthusiastic, hard-working front of house staff to join our team. If you have a passion for providing great service to a high standard, and thrive off working in a busy environment, then we would love to meet you!

TECC is a creative and modern event & catering service based in the capital, serving the whole country. Our operation runs from a custom-built production kitchen and office in South Gyle, where we also run our sister business, Edinburgh Food Delivery. Customer service and fantastic food are our priority, and we have a dedicated team of staff that are always willing to go the extra mile for us, so whether it’s a private dinner for six, or a wedding for 300, we guarantee our clients an exceptional service and quality food.

There are longer day shifts available over the weekends, but also ad hoc throughout the week. We can be flexible around other work commitments/study, so please get in touch with what suits you!

Several responsibilities of a typical shift will include:

· Serving food and wine at many fantastic venues around the country

· Keeping back of house areas clean and tidy

· Clearing crockery and glassware

· Setting up weddings and many other private events

The ideal candidate for this role will:

· Have a positive and enthusiastic attitude

· Be a team player but can also carry out tasks individually to a high standard

· Have excellent communication and organisational skills

· Have a passion for delivering excellent customer service

· Be confident & friendly with good people skills – the ability to make guests feel comfortable and well looked after

Please note this position is available for 18+ only.

Experience within the food & drinks/hospitality industry is preferred, however full training will be given.

UK driving licence is preferred but not essential.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: £12.00-£14.00 per hour
