General Assistant

We’re looking to expand our team by taking on a General Assistant to join the team at the award-winning Eastbury & Spa.

The Eastbury is a luxury 26 bedroom town house property with 5 star accommodation and a spa located in the town of Sherborne, Dorset.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a Reception/Front of house/Bar role as well as having small admin experience, have a warm and friendly personality and be willing to work a range of shifts between the hours of 7am and 11:00pm.

We are looking for a fast worker who can help in all departments of The Eastbury including housekeeping, Reception, Restaurant and Kitchen

Each week you will work between 10-40 hours a week depending on the needs of the business.

Essential skills:

- Communication skills

- Organisational skills

- High standard of customer service skills dealing with a variety of situations

- Be able to work as part of a team and on your own

Must also be available to work extra shifts to cover team holidays and sickness if needed.

Please note, this role will involve working evenings, weekends, bank holidays and Christmas (including Christmas Day) New Year (including New Years Eve and New Years Day).

This is a very customer focused role and requires someone who is confident talking to new people and happy to interact with guests, we have a wide ranging clientele and someone who can talk to people from all walks of life is a must.

Job Types: Part-time, Temp to perm, Zero hours contract
Part-time hours: 20 per week

Salary: £10.50-£11.00 per hour
