About us
The Canine Country Club is a small business in Chesterfield. We are professional, fun and rewarding, our goal is to give the best care to our canine clients.
We provide a 5* Licenced Boarding kennels in the beautiful area of Ashover Parish.
We are looking for enuthastic candidate to join our team here at The Canine Country Club, this position requires you to be confident around all breeds of dogs, have good communication skills and be willing to work outdoors in all weathers.
The Responsibilities include:
- Customer Service
- Able to Thoroughly Clean Kennels to a High Standard
- Provide Phyiscal + Mental Stimulation to our doggy guests
- Prepare meals
- Administer Medications if required
Skills + Experience needed for this position:
- Mature attitude
- Ability to work alone or within a team
- Use own inititave
- Have a hands on Approach
- Physical fitness (phyiscally demanding job)
- Reliability
- Have related experience with dogs
- Willingness to learn
Experience in an Kennel Environment is not essential but is desired, all training will be provided for the best applicants.
We are not located on a bus route - A driving licence is not essential but advisable
We work in two shift patterns, this consists of an early morning start and a late evening finish.
Hours + Pay will be discussed upon interview for the correct applicant.
We have Horses onsite, that you will be expected to be able to work with, The horses vary in age, therefore confident handling them is essential.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Temp to perm, Zero hours contract
Contract length: 12 months
Part-time hours: 10-30 per week
Salary: £7.49-£10.42 per hour
