Position Overview & Specifications
Title: Labourer / Semi Skilled Labourer
The Best Connection are recruiting a Labourer/Assistant Fitter for a family owned business based in Darlington. This vacancy is an immediate start and temporary to permanent for the right candidate.
Duties include:
- Assisting qualified technicians with the installation of fireplaces
- Some heavy lifting to load/unload vans with products and equipment
- Measuring and cutting holes into walls
- Operating hand tools
- Cleaning dust and rubble
- Minor repair work
Applicants must be courteous as you will be working in peoples homes
Hours of work:
- Monday to Friday
- 8.30am to 4.30pm
Pay Rates:
- Starting pay rate:
- £10.50 per hour basic rate Monday to Friday
- £15.75 per hour for any hours worked on Saturday
- After 3 months continuous work pay rates increase to:
- £12.00 per hour basic rate Monday to Friday
- £18.00 per hour for any hours worked Saturday
