About:
The Bateman Group is a respected independent insurance broker that has been established since 1967; and we are currently seeking to recruit a Trainee Account Handler to work within our small, friendly Commercial insurance team in providing client-focused advice and support to our existing and future client account.

Requirements of Account Handler role:
- To manage own allocated account of Commercial & Scheme clients
- To process all renewal, MTA & claims on allocated clients
- To liaise with Commercial Account Executives on new business enquiries
- To provide broking support for new business presentations & placing of business secured
- Direct input into the development & evolution of this area of the business
- Liaison with Accounts Dept. regarding credit control
Support Available:
- CII Apprenticeship scheme to obtain Cert & Dip CII Qualifications
- Acturis back office administration system
- Online tutorials re Acturis system
- 1:1 training & coaching
- CII Broker Assess CBT training programs
Requirements:
- 1-3 years’ insurance industry experience preferred, but not mandatory
- Household & motor insurance experience would be a bonus
- Must live within commuting distance of Warwick, Midlands, UK
