Position Overview & Specifications

Tempting Recruitment are working on behalf of our client, a local authority in London, to recruit an experienced FM Soft Services Manager. If you are looking to increase your earnings for the year, apply now!

Contract: 3-6 months (Possible extension)
Salary: £35 p/h (Umbrella)
Start Date: February 2023
Shift Pattern: 36 hours / Full-time

DUTIES

Responsible for the overall delivery of Soft FM Service operations including all cleaning, security and portering services.
Implementation of operational plans within the service areas to fit with broader functional and Council strategy.
Evaluate current working practices and recommend improvements in line with service delivery requirements and resources.
Leading on production of FM management reports for the Head of Facilities Management and procedures for the FM Service.
Responsible for monitoring FM budgets relating to the soft service functions and contracts.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
Must have previous experience within a Facilities Management role or equivalent.
Membership of a relevant professional body, e.g. IWFM or BICSc.
Qualification in IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent.
Experience in the management and delivery of Facilities Management services (specifically cleaning and security) to time, cost and quality.
Good working knowledge of health and safety and ability to interpret policy and legislation.
