Position Overview & Specifications

We are looking for an experienced, analytical, results-driven Frontend Developer who will work with other team members to troubleshoot and improve current and create new solutions. The Frontend Developer will use his or her understanding of programming languages and tools to analyse the current codebase, formulate more efficient processes, solve problems, and create highly robust, performant and future-proof solutions.

To succeed as a Frontend Developer, you should be focused on building a better, more efficient solution and creating a better end-user experience. You should be knowledgeable, collaborative, and motivated as well as possess excellent computer skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the development of new and maintenance and optimization of existing products
  • Document architectural decisions including risks and implemented business logic keeping the documentation up to date
  • Collaborate with the back-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive code that enhances the products
  • Profile and analyse bottlenecks, and identify single points of failure while striving to optimise system performance continuously
  • Recommend systems solutions by comparing the advantages and disadvantages of custom development versus purchased alternatives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a similar field
  • 4+ years of programming experience showing fluency in SDLC
  • Proficient knowledge of TypeScript with at least 2 years of experience is a must
  • Proficient knowledge of React or Angular is a big asset
  • Experience with WebSocket and binary payload APIs is a must
  • Experience with Unity (a game engine) is a must
  • Experience with creating mobile apps or integrating with native mobile apps is an asset
  • Excellent analytical skills and strong attention to detail
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
