Parcel Sorter

TAG Recruitments is currently recruiting for a night shift Parcel Sorter/Loader for our international parcel distribution client in Hinckley LE10.

No experience is necessary as full training is provided.

We can offer 10 hours, 20 hours, or 40-hour per week assignments and we can also offer casual hours to suit your work-life balance.

As a Parcel Sorter, you will earn £11.42 per hour for your first 40 hours, plus overtime at £11.70 per hour for all hours over. Extra hours are available to increase your earning potential.

you will earn £12.97 per hour for your first 40 hours, plus overtime at £18.86 per hour for all hours over. Extra hours are available to increase your earning potential.

The work will involve:

• Moving and sorting parcels
• Sorting mail
• Loading cages and containers/manual handling
• Operating scanners
• Parcel sorting on a sorting line
• Palletising
• Lifting up to 30kg

Skills and Experience Needed for this role:

• Clear Criminal Record Check
• Clear and concise communication both written and spoken.
• Physically fit due to standing for long periods
• Previous experience within a warehouse environment is desirable
• DBS from last 6 months

The right warehouse experienced candidate will need to be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and cope under pressure.

This is a physical role and some items you will lift can be weighty so it is vital that you have experience in manual labor and heavy lifting.

The start time varies between 15:00 & 21:00

The finishes time will be around 3 am.

Full-Time workers working Monday to Friday / Sunday to Thursday

Due to the shift finish, times own transport is required as at the shift finish times there is no public transport available in the area.
