Sunshine Healthcare Services provides domiciliary care and companionship services to people of all ages and ethnic origins so that they can live independently in their own homes. We aim to provide them with the best quality service when they are ill, disabled or recovering from illness or surgery. We aim to support and encourage a CARE-led service with the client's needs as a priority.
Job type: Full-Time and Part-time roles available
Salary: £11.50ph
Schedules: 12-hour shift, Day shift, Weekend availability
Location: Kingston Upon Thames
As a Healthcare Assistant you will;
- Assist residents with all aspects of personal care and their Activities of Daily Living (ADL) whilst maintaining their privacy and dignity.
- Assist residents during mealtimes and serve meals and drinks as required.
- Support residents in using their personal equipment and mobility aids when necessary, ensuring all are well maintained and functional.
- Understand, contribute to and be familiar with the residents’ Person-centred Care Plans and report any changes or updates to the shift lead.
- Complete accurate and effective written records and audits as instructed and in line with the Company’s care policies and procedures.
- Ensure a safe environment is maintained at all times within the Home, reporting any incidents, accidents, infections or hazards/ faults.
- Undertake mandatory training and identified training in order to be able to carry out the role
- Attend regular supervision and appraisal meetings.
- Respect confidentiality and work with dignity at the core of what you do
- Promote and ensure the excellent reputation of the Home and the Company at all times.
Requirements
- 3 - 6 months of UK experience
- Valid Enhanced DBS
- Mandatory Training Certificates
- Passport/Visa/ BRP or any other suitable Right to Work documents

Part-time hours: 8 per week
Salary: £11.00-£12.00 per hour
