Pro Audio Warehouse Operative

We have an opportunity for a Warehouse assistant to join our team in Liverpool.

You will be reporting to the logistics manager.

This is a full-time position.

This role is suited to well organised individuals with warehousing experience. Accuracy is incredibly important and the ability to prioritise, multi-task and cope with high workloads is vital. A background in pro audio / music is an advantage.

Responsibilities associated with this role include, but are not limited to the following:

• Receiving deliveries of goods and supplies
• Checking of incoming goods for damaged or missing items
• Communicating with suppliers should problems occur
• Safe and secure storage of stock in appropriate areas
• Picking and packing of all Sales orders for shipping via approved couriers
• Maintaining stock records
• Communicating with all departments concerning receipt or shipment of their goods
• Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and appropriately managed for safe storage of goods
• Obtaining shipping quotes
• Occasionally driving a LWB van to deliver /collect goods

Skills & Experience

• An interest in music / audio is desirable
• Warehousing experience required
• Experience of bar-coding & bin locations
• Experience of dispatch software
• PC Literate
• Our systems are computerised and specific training will be given, but knowledge / understanding of computers and the internet is required.
• An eye for detail
• Ability to work under pressure
• Quick learner
• Team player
• Aspects of the job are physical and involves lifting
• Full UK Driving Licence

Salary: Negotiable
