Tea Room Supervisor

Please research the location of this job before applying, we are in a rural place with very little public transport. 30 Minutes away from Lincoln, 20 minutes to Louth 10 minutes to Horncastle of Wragby by car!

We run a busy tearoom set in a beautiful walled garden, just outside the small village of Baumber. With a fantastic manager and a small team, plus lots of young people in the summer, many of who are doing their first jobs. Our food is made from scratch using high quality local ingredients. Our customers are lovely, and include many regulars, lots of retired people and visitors to the area. We like to look after them all and offer a high level of service.

This post is a 'hands on' supervisors post, to support our manager, and step into her shoes so she can enjoys hers days off, or sometimes get on with the office work knowing the team have got someone to guide and support them in the kitchen.

We are looking for someone kind and caring with a positive attitude, and a good sense of humour. Someone who will guide our younger people, and teach them, but keep them working effectively!

Ideally you will be a good cook and if you can bake that's a bonus, on a busy day we often have to whip up a fresh batch of scones! Are you willing to serve, clear and wash the pots, and get stuck in with the cleaning if needed. We are a small friendly team and everyone works hard to keep the wheels turning! Even the boss will clear trays and stack the pots when needed.

Wages is just above NMW, and hours are full time.
