Position Overview & Specifications

Story is a growing video and photography company, based in Keighley, specialising in making story-driven commercial films for the Education and Healthcare sectors.

We are looking for a cameraperson / editor to join our team on a full-time basis who can create video content that is strong on narrative. We are storytellers, who veer towards the documentary format of narrative storytelling.

If your speciality is cutting sizzling content for YouTube, this is not the right kind of role for you.

If you are full of creative ideas, willing to learn, and passionate about storytelling, this is a great opportunity to have a career doing what you love.

All applications MUST include links to at least 2 pieces of work that you have filmed and edited and that show a good ability to craft a narrative.

You must also include a personalised cover letter please.

We can only accept applicants that are happy to relocate, as you will be required to work from our office the vast majority of the time.

If you cannot do these, you will not be considered.

What will you be doing?

  • Creating engaging narrative content (Film & Edit)
  • Maintaining camera and IT equipment with latest software/firmware
  • Coming up with video ideas and preparing for shoots

Must haves

  • A background with video and editing experience is required, (You NEED to submit work examples on submission).

Nice to haves

  • A full Valid UK Driving license with access to a car for travel

The role is studio-based, with the exception of on-location shoots.

Position:
- Full time
- Monday – Friday 9am-5pm (flexitime may be available. Expect occasional overtime including weekends)
- Based at our Keighley offices
