Cloakroom Attendant

The Cloakroom Attendant looks after our guests and offers to take their belongings during their experience at STEREO.

The cloakroom attendant must have a positive energy, warm personality, have a good attention to detail, and be reliable.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Welcome guests and assist with their coats, bags and other belongings, give them a ticket that corresponds to the number of their belongings.

• Store coats, bags and other personal belongings according to the ticket number, and keep them safe.

• Return guest items and personal belongings.

• Manage the cleanliness of the lobby, cloakroom and washroom, by checking the areas on a regular interval.

• Experience in a similar role.

• Attention to details and customer needs.

• Social, engaging and motivated.

• Flexibility to respond quickly and positively to a range of work situations.

• Knowledge as well as abilities in other languages would be beneficial.

• Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.

The Experimental Group was founded in 2007 by three childhood friends, Olivier Bon, Pierre-Charles Cros and Romée de Goriainoff. Xavier Padovani later joined them and shared their vision: to offer the ultimate hospitality experience to an ever-demanding clientele.

Celebrated for bringing the cocktail bar culture to Paris, the Experimental Group operates Experimental Cocktail Club bars in Paris, London, Venice and Verbier; wine bars, Compagnie des Vins Surnaturels, in Paris, London and New York City; restaurants and beach clubs in Menorca, Verbier, Paris, Venice, Ibiza and London; and hotels in London, the Cotswolds, Paris, Ibiza, Verbier, Menorca, Venice and Biarritz.

STEREO is the Experimental Group’s newest endeavour. Inspired by the vibrant late-night cultures of New York and London, complete with the undertones of Parisian chic, STEREO will offer a masterfully curated mix of music, food, and drinks. STEREO will feature an extensive drinks menu, American inspired culinary bar classics, and an eclectic and dynamic music programme.

Our menu will be developed by Chef-Restauranteur Andrew Clarke, who you have seen at his newest joint Acme Fire Cult in Dalston. His dishes will be inspired by American classics. Behind the bar, the team is led by Experimental Group veteran Nicolas Brulin. The offering will see local products from Partizan Brewery and Thames Distillers (including a STEREO house vodka & gin), plus a strong focus on sustainability where wastage is minimised by using large drums to store our spirits. Our music ties it all together, with a rotating series of resident DJs and curated one-off performances overseen by Cassius Consultancy.
