Hours of work:
Hours are worked on two rotating shifts, Monday to Friday (7.45am to 3.45 pm/9.45am – 5.45pm). In addition, half a day (8.00 am to 1.00pm) is worked on a Saturday on a rota basis as part of the normal working week for which compensatory time off will be given.

Salary:
£22,190 p.a. (this is the full-time salary, term time working will be pro-rata)
St Peter’s School, York, is a dynamic, forward-looking HMC independent school for day and boarding pupils based a few minutes’ walk from the historic centre of York.
We are looking for enthusiastic and friendly individuals to provide a professional reception and administration service to visitors, parents, staff and pupils. A key part of this role will be ensuring excellent customer service as you will be the first point of contact for all visitors to the St Peter’s reception.
The school has two full time post (37.5 hours per week) available, one of which is term time only (34 weeks) plus 4 additional weeks. We welcome applications from candidates who wish to be considered for the Saturday working only. Please state clearly in your application which role you wish to be considered for.
Although some experience in a similar role would be an advantage, it is not essential.
