What would you do in your first 6 months?

• Join us for a chance to help shape our product’s development and tech path as part of a lean, multi-skilled team where your contributions will have a high impact immediately.
• This Test Engineer keeps customers in mind during every stage of the development lifecycle. Your role will be central to maintaining high product quality as part of our current testing efforts through both automation and manual testing, whilst owning the evolution of our team’s test processes as we expand our Engineering team and maturity.
• The role will involve following CICD principles, shipping new versions every day.
• You will be responsible for testing plugins capable of pulling data from multiple diverse systems into SquaredUp cloud, our cloud native SaaS solution designed to be the single pain of glass giving complete visibility into all your tools.
• This role will suit a candidate with excellent people skills, who thrives on collaboration and team success, skilled in automated and manual testing.

What can you bring to SquaredUp?

• Experience in architecting test processes

• Experience in test case automation design, execution and management of

• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail

• Insatiable appetite for continuous personal and process improvement

• Working knowledge of a programming language like JavaScript, C# or PowerShell

• An excellent communicator, fun to work with, and enjoys being part of a passionate team

• Experience of working with Rest APIs

Desirable

• Keen to learn all types of functional and non-functional testing, such as performance and security testing

• Experience with Cypress & Pactum

• Experience in testing SaaS and serverless software

• Understanding of software architecture and how to exploit it to inform a test approach

• Understanding of agile and waterfall software project lifecycles

• Understanding of technologies such as web servers, application servers, and databases

We don’t expect candidates to have experience in all of these, but knowledge of some and a willingness to learn is desirable.
